Rob Cummins joins Temperform (Lawton Novi) in Novi, Michigan, as the Plant Manager. Rob brings more than 20 years of manufacturing leadership experience across automotive, plastics, assembly, sequencing, and operations management. Throughout his career, he has successfully led multi-site operations, facility launches, lean manufacturing initiatives, process improvements, ERP implementations, and large-scale workforce development programs. Most recently, Rob served as Plant Manager at Sonoco Plastics, where he led operational improvements, strengthened organizational culture, enhanced production performance, and drove profitability initiatives. Prior to that, he managed four facilities totaling 1.5 million square feet at Modular Automotive Systems, supporting major automotive OEM customers while overseeing all aspects of operations, safety, quality, engineering, inventory, and financial performance. Rob’s extensive experience in strategic planning, continuous improvement, team development, and operational excellence makes him an outstanding addition to the Temperform (Lawton Novi) team. His proven track record of building high performing organizations and delivering results will help support our continued growth and commitment to serving our customers.
