Joel joined the Lawton Novi team in July of 2025.  He has a long history in foundries and was excited to jump in and help lead Novi after Gloria Webber’s retirement.

Joel has a BS in Metallurgical and Materials Engineering from Michigan Technological University, a MBA from Grand Valley State University and a PhD in Organization and Management from Capella University.

He started his foundry career in 1994 and has held positions such as Metallurgist, Technical Services Manager, Quality Manager, Manufacturing Manager, Plant Manager and VP of Continuous Improvement.
